Mac Users

NX is no longer supported on Mac OS. Mac users have 3 options

Option 1 - Virtual Lab

The Virtual labs is a remote system that has NX 12 install. Click the link below in a web browser and login with your UNF N number and password. Click the + on the left and then All Apps. You should see NX 12 in the list. If you do not see NX, send an email to cec-help@unf.edu and request access.

Option 2 - Mechanical Engineering Terminal Server

All Mechanical Engineering students have access to the Terminal Server that has software used in classes. This includes NX 1907. Students can access this server by using a Remote Desktop application to connect to CCECVM-MECHTS.UNFCSD.UNF.EDU. VPN connection to UNF is required to see the Terminal Server off-campus.

Option 3 - Virtual Windows Computer

Mac users can create a Windows Virtual Computer using Virtual Box or Parallels. Follow the install instruction above to install and license NX inside the Windows virtual computer. We can help you with NX licensing once it is installed inside the virtual computer but we do not have the time to assist in getting the virtual computer running.
